Hvorfor er produktet brunt? Er det normalt?
Yes! All our products are designed with pure Salicornia extract, which naturally has a dark brown color. In our commitment to formulating high-performance products, we decided to add a high concentration (up to 85%) of extract in our formulas. Due to this high concentration, the color of the formula is brown like the extract. As a natural skincare manufacturer, we choose not to add colorants to make the products white, hence the brown hue in our products.
Are the products environmentally friendly?
Sustainability is a core value for us. From harvest to production, we make sure to have minimal impact on the environment. The biomass collected by local farmers in Europe is a by-product of halophyte agriculture. By valuing by-products and not harvesting from edible crops, we don’t disrupt the food chain in these countries. Furthermore, the extract is produced by a patented bio-process that is free from harmful chemicals, unlike most traditional bioactive extraction productions. What does Phytoaktiv / Phytoactive mean?
Phytoactive means that the active and functional ingredients in the products are derived from natural compounds from plants. These natural compounds, also known as phyto-chemicals, are found in plant extracts and can have various properties, such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing, which are known to be beneficial for skin health. Most of the bioactivity in our products comes from natural polyphenols.
How do I choose the right product?
Choose the PHYTOACTIVE SERUM for chronically irritated, dry or red skin. The serum is a highly concentrated version of pure Salicornia extract. Perfect for improving the overall appearance of your skin thanks to its rich concentration of polyphenols. It offers intense hydration and fast absorption. Can be used on face, body or scalp.
Choose the PHYTOACTIVE CONCENTRATED CREAM for chronically dry and itchy skin caused by skin challenges like eczema-prone or psoriasis-prone skin. The rich texture of the cream is especially appreciated by extremely dry flaky skin. Best used for the face and specific difficult areas of the body such as elbows, legs, neck, etc. For larger body areas, use PHYTOACTIVE BODY LOTION.
Choose PHYTOACTIVE BODY LOTION for daily treatment of dry and itchy skin. The combination of oat extract and Salicornia extract offers soothing and nourishing skin for best comfort and moisture.
